Pete Furlong leads the development of the hardware platform at Exyn Technologies, where he is responsible for providing a testbed for Exyn’s algorithmic development. His skills lie in rapid prototyping and mechatronic design.
A recent graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, Pete has developed his skill set through a series of internships, as well as rigorous coursework. From building autonomous robots to advanced machine design, he has grown his prototyping skills in order to transition concrete product requirements to a physical system. He is adept at CAD, 3D printing, machining, and mechatronic system integration.
Pete graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2015 with a BSE and MSE in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania. His graduate concentration was in Mechatronic and Robotic Systems.
